Social Impact

Welworth City Puja Committee Trust believes that building community means more than celebration. As a registered Non-Profit Public Charitable Trust, we see it as our responsibility to give back to the people and the neighbourhood that make Provident Welworth City home, not just during the festival season, but through the entire year.

This work runs alongside our festivals, not apart from them. The same volunteers who organise Durga Puja are often the ones running a health camp in one season, planting saplings in the next, or spending an afternoon at a nearby old age home. It is not a separate initiative bolted onto the Puja calendar; it is part of the same spirit that brings this community together every year, care extended a little further, a little more often.

Some of this work reaches beyond our own gates, to schools, elder care homes and green spaces in the wider Doddaballapura and Marasandra area. Some of it stays within the township, in the shared meals and gatherings that residents look forward to year after year. Together, they reflect what this Trust has tried to be since 2015: a community that shows up for itself, and for the people around it.

It is a small, resident-led effort. But one we hope grows a little further every year, in step with the community itself.
